Be it in private or publicly, be it for a personal issue or for a subject of broader interest, be it of formal or informal tone, be it between two or more interlocutors, conducting a dialogue can prove a strenuous and demanding task. The goal here is of twofold nature. On the one hand, we have to communicate our position in the clearest and most understandable manner possible, while getting to fathom our debater’s arguments. On the other hand, we have to be vigilant at all times, in case of being outmaneuvered by a possible trickery and for avoiding using any of those ourselves.
